• Hyperion (NASDAQ: HYPD) is the first publicly-listed U.S. company to build a strategic treasury of HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid protocol.
• Kinetiq enables users to mint kHYPE — a reward-accruing liquid staking token for HYPE, representing the staked token plus the rights to any staking rewards, that can be utilised in DeFi, or simply held to earn staking rewards.

• Right now there are 21 active validators in the Hyperliquid network, with plans to scale to 24 active validators in the short term.
• As of 24 July 2025, there are 426,257,000 HYPE tokens staked.
• The staking rates are roughly 2.15%.
• Liquid staking is being grown by incredible teams like Kinetiq who have secured more than $500m USD in HYPE deposits.

How to stake natively stake HYPE from Fireblocks

The below is a guide on how to access access institutional HYPE staking via Fireblocks. This does not include the minting of any LSTs. 

TO NOTE: First, ensure that your HyperEVM account holding the HYPE is connected to the https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/staking interface.

Fireblocks currently does not natively support HyperCore - so please ensure that when you send HYPE to your Fireblocks account that you do not accidentally send them to your HyperCore account. You can convert between HyperCore and HyperEVM in the portfolio section of the Hyperliquid application. https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/portfolio

If you send HYPE to your Fireblocks address on HyperCore, you will not be able to access your funds for the timebeing. Please ensure that you keep funds on the HyperEVM.
